RGYVE.COM:  the best of both worlds!

We give you both the speed and flexibility of regular databases and the transparancy and immutablity of the blockchain! All of the functionality is available through easy API's

What we offer:

1. DATABASE
A database (QLDB + Aurora)

2. IPFS
Easy access to a distributed Filesystem (IPFS).

3. smartcontracts
A platform to create smartcontracts and access to api's.

4. partly- or completely immutable
Databases are partly mutable (no DELETE rights, only UPDATE) or completely immuatble.

5. SECURE
Every 10 minutes database-tables are hashed and stored on blockchain.

How RGYVE.COM works:

We use existing technology and combine them with new blockchain applications.

We also use Amazon Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB): a Fully managed ledger database that provides a transparent, immutable, and cryptographically verifiable transaction log. Owned by a central trusted authority.

What is RGYVE.COM?

Stellar is a platform that connects banks, payments systems, and people. Integrate to move money quickly, reliably, and at almost no cost. One transaction on the Stellar blockchain cost 0.00001 XLM (1 XLM is around $0,15). If the original data is changed then this will result in a completely different hash.

A hash is created from input of an arbitrary-length (one word or a dataset of multiple GB). The hash itself has a fixed length and depends on the algorithm you use. SHA256 - for example - generates a hash that consists 64 characters. A hash does not contain any of the original data, which allows the use of this method for confidential data.

Smart contracts without a blockchain?

Trusted timestamping is the process of securely keeping track of the creation and modification time of a document. Security here means that no one - not even the owner of the document - is able to change it once it has been recorded.

There are two common methods to get a secure timestamp. 1) creation of a digital timestamp certificate from a trusted timestamp autority. 2) incorporate a hash into a transaction stored in the blockchain.
We prefer the first method, mainly because of speed and reliablity. We use the free services of freeTSA.org, and you get your certificate within 1 second in your mailbox!
